....still no internet...

I'm Baaaaaaack!!!...frm VBS! Haih...VBS is over...and STILL NO INTERNET!!!! The guy came to fix the wireless and everything and my dad was like INTERNET IS BACK!!! and I was like yip-yip-HURRAY!!! ok...maybe not yip-yip-hurray! but my expresion is close enough (yip-yip-hurray/hurrah/simply smashing! sounds so Enid Blyton doesn't it??? well, to me...haha) so me, all excited, dash upstairs in record breakinh speed(for a fat girl who is tired and hungry) leep on my bed and on the computer still huffing and puffing from the "dash" and then looks at the fan thingy(it's the wireless thing which is suppose to turn green when there's internet) and it's WHITE!!! nothing. NOT YELLOW NOT GREEN JUST WHITE, BLANK, EMPTY. Bottom line still no internet. End of the story. End of the 'Exciting tales of Alicia the great: Close encounters with the return of the net' . DONE, ZIP AND BANG! Ofcourse if you were to ask me in person there would be more effects such as flying hands wide eyes (as wide as my tiny ones can open) and the ever so famous "blessings/holy water" otherwise known as saliva. OK, I'm suppose to write about VBS right? But I have NOTHING to say. REally. Other than the kids were cute, I got sick, acting the same thing 5 times was tiring, they lost my photo but I still had an AWESOME time. That's about it. So there. End of post. Haha...nvm...still got things to write...just not so interesting. Not that the other things that I've written is interesting but this is less interesting...unless you're looking to burn time...because if you are? Here's where you wanna be...

Journey to the River Sea by Eva Ibbotson

This story is about a girl who lost her parents and has to move to the Amazon to live with her only living relatives who are only taking care of her because of how much money she has. She travels there with her governess Ms. Minton aka Minty (to her). On the trip there she meats another orphan Jimmy something but because he joined this acting troupe thing he had to change his name into Clovis King. The obviously become friends.

When they (she and Ms. Minton) arrive in the at her uncle's home, the house of rest, things aren't as fun as she thought they would be. Her uncle is in the rubber plantation business but because he treats the Indians so badly they run away leaving him broke. He only cares about his GLASS EYE collection (probably more than his wife and kids) and spends hours every day admiring them! ( I know, Freaky). His wife is a total clean freak and carries all kinds of insect repellents and wakes up every morning super early to bang on the floors and kick walls to make sure that there are no roaches and stuff.She thinks tat everything in the Amazon is dirty so she imports everything from England. Therefore everything is canned and tastes disgusting. They have two daughters, twins, they wear white everyday with different colored sashes and ribbons. They follow each other eveywhere and they hate Maia (that's the name of the girl).

But Maia loves the Amazon and has all sorts adventures and makes tons of friends.

I know it sounds like a childish story and stuff but it's really nice. I give it 5 STARs!

Now for movies...

I just watched ENCHANTED yesterday and I love it! It's funny AND nice.

I don't really find Patric Dempsey that McDreamyish. James Marsden isn't cyclospish at all (he acted in X-men as Cyclops incase you don't understand) like acted all dumb and stuff which was funny...in a way...anyway overall the movie was great and I laughed a lot (not that that's a surprise or any thing...since I laugh a lot...don't I?) If you like the kind of movies that I like you'd probably like it. Even if you don't like the movies I like you might like it too...but you might not love it...you could even hate it...obviously it depends on what kind of movies you like.

anyway...I have to go since my uncle's clinic is closing...so erm...BYE!!!!

Hmm...

Soooo....Today was the leadership thingy and it was fun. I guess if you wanna read more abt it you should just go to DAvid P's blog cos' I very lazy to write...hehe

I mean...I guess there really isn't much to write about...other than the leadership thing....but I dunno what to write about it!

I guess its because I completely wiped out the moment I reached home...It's like WAT called me(I think) Three times and I didn't even hear the ringing till' the third or fourth time( mind you, that hardly happens...I dun think I'm that a heavy sleeper) and I don't even rmb what she said. I know she said "HA" and something about Kevjumba (he uploaded a new vid) I think she told me that and said "HA" because she finally beat me to one of his videos).

The last timeI forgot what a person said on the phone was a few months back when my tuition teacher callled and asked me what flavour I wanted on my pizza. After he hung up I woke up and I was like WHAt just happened...did I dream that or was that real??? Because Pizza is the kind of thing that I WOULD dream of. SO I checked my call records but because I called him earlier also it kinda combined everything and I didn't understand it. So I called him back and asked him if he DID CALL ME and it turns out I wasn't dreaming and I had peperoni Pizza...that's what I told him to order in my sleep...Isn't it cool that I can still order my favorite flavour in my sleep??? Atleast I think its cool...in a wierd kind of way...lol

Oh YEah...for book up date I'm reading Love and Devotion (mind you, it is NOT a romance...I repeat NOT a romance) and it's pretty nice.

I also just finnished Jemima J by Jane Green...and it's pretty nice.

Its about this really fat girl who looses a ton of weight and becomes a swan...pretty standard stuff but its still nice. The way Jane writes it. Anyway I can't tell you more about it(like Exchange) because the book is with SWT and I don't remember anything else about it other than the Author and Title...obviously the story but its really long to write.

So anyway...erm....what else....? uh! I guess nothing? lol....haha...hehe...hoho...mwahahahahaha....lol....

Anyway...I guess since I got nothing to write I'd better go....Buh-bye!!!
